I am a product of a community that has historically put people first and it has shaped who I am today.
I am proud to tell each and every neighbour I have met in this campaign that I am from Beaverbrook, a neighbourhood that inspired me to serve as your Councillor in Kanata North. There are so many memories of growing up in Beaverbrook and attending school at W Erskine Johnston and Earl of March, playing little league baseball and learning how to skate on the beaver pond. Now it is my turn to contribute and make a difference for you - my neighbours.
I am pleased to present my vision for Beaverbrook that is driven by this community's legacy. I will work hard to deliver on the opportunities in front of us in this growing community to improve transit and transportation while managing development.
I want to improve safety of our children and youth, introduce more traffic calming measures along Penfield Drive, Varley Drive and Leacock Drive, support seniors with health-care and transportation services and revitalize the Beaverbrook Mall for more community activation.
Together, we will make Beaverbrook stronger.
